Jenner Wind Energy Connection (1533)
Joss Wind Power Inc. (Joss) has applied to the Alberta Electric System Operator for transmission system access to connect its proposed Jenner wind generating facility in the Brooks area. Joss’ request can be met by the following solution:
- Constructing approximately 14 kilometres of 240 kilovolt (kV) transmission line to connect the Facility to the existing Jenner 275S substation;
- Modifying the existing Jenner 275S substation, including adding a 240 kV breaker; and
- Adding associated equipment as required to facilitate the facility connection.
