    CAL1 ENMAX Calgary Energy Centre Change in Maximum Capability (MC) Notice

    Calgary Energy Centre No. 2 Inc. is connecting an additional 10 MW to its existing asset, CAL1. Effective May 21, 2022, the approved MC of CAL1 will increase from 320 MW to 330 MW. Please note that the MC change will be reflected on the Current Supply Demand Report effective May 21, 2022.

    Please note that this notification is for MC approvals, and that many generation units may initially undergo commissioning and testing activities, or incorporation in phases as applicable, and there may be a period of time before the new generation will output its full MW capability on to the grid.
