    CMH1 Medicine Hat #1 change in maximum capability (MC) notice

    City of Medicine Hat is connecting an additional 44 MW to its existing asset, CMH1. Effective April 19, 2022, the approved MC of CHM1 will increase from 255 MW to 299 MW. Please note that the MC change will be reflected on the Current Supply Demand Report effective April 19, 2022.

    Please note that this notification is for MC approvals and that many generation units may initially undergo commissioning and testing activities, or incorporation in phases as applicable, and there may be a period of time before the new generation will output its full MW capability on to the grid.
