New Assets Brooks Solar 1 and 2 (BRK1 and BRK2) Notice
Please note that the effective date of these assets has been postponed to the following:
- BRK1 – Mar 18, 2022
- BRK2 – Mar 16, 2022
Brooks Solar II Corporation is connecting two new solar generators:
- BRK1 – 13 MW
- BRK2 – 14 MW
The monthly outage and short term outage graphs will be updated in the normal manner on the AESO’s website based on the information entered in the Energy Trading System. This new capacity will be reflected on the Current Supply & Demand page on the effective dates listed above.
Please note that the dates listed on this notice is the date the new assets will be added to the market. However, many generation units may initially undergo commissioning and testing activities, or incorporation in phases as applicable, and there may be a period of time before the new generation will reach its full MW capability.
