    New Assets kīsikāw pīsim 1 and 2 (KKP1 and KKP2) Notice

    Please note that the effective date of Assets KKP1 and KKP2 have been postponed to August 8, 2022. The previous notification listed an effective date of August 2, 2022.

    EPCOR Water Services Inc. is connecting two new solar generators effective August 8, 2022:

    • KKP1 – 7 MW
    • KKP2 – 7 MW

    The monthly outage and short term outage graphs will be updated in the normal manner on the AESO’s website based on the information entered in the Energy Trading System. This new capacity will be reflected on the Current Supply & Demand page effective August 8, 2022.

    Please note that the dates listed on this notice is the date the new assets will be added to the market. However, many generation units may initially undergo commissioning and testing activities, or incorporation in phases as applicable, and there may be a period of time before the new generation will reach its full MW capability.
