    ADaMS - Discontinuation of ADaMS support on older versions of Internet Explorer

    On February 3, 2020, the AESO announced that it will implement a technical upgrade to the Automated Dispatch and Messaging System (“ADaMS”). The upgrade was implemented on June 9, 2020. As a consequence of this upgrade, Pool Participants using an older version of Internet Explorer (version 6 -10) were required to upgrade to a new version of Internet Explorer when accessing ADaMS. However, to allow for additional time for Participants to address issues upgrading, the AESO continued to support older versions of Internet Explorer for a limited period of time.

    The AESO will now discontinue the support of ADaMS on older versions of Internet Explorer, effective November 17, 2020. From this date forward, Adobe Flash Player will no longer function and no ADaMS DVN alarms will sound. It is recommended that all Pool Participants ensure that browsers used to access ADaMS have been upgraded to Internet Explorer 11.
