    Historical Dispatch Issue: Automated Dispatch and Messaging System ("ADaMS")

    The AESO has identified an issue with the Historical Dispatches in ADaMS.

    Following a communication or response timeout of a dispatch in ADaMS, a new row is added to the Dispatch History informing the participant of the relevant timeout information. The AESO has identified that as a result of the ADaMS and Dispatch Tool decouple on January 28, 2021, the notes field in the Dispatch History for a timeout does not identify if the timeout was a communication or response timeout and the field is blank. This affects timeout dispatches in both the Dispatch History pane and dispatch history generated from a view or downloaded report for timeouts as of January 28, 2021. The AESO is working to fix this issue and repopulate the missing information as soon as possible (expected to be in March).

    Please note that following a timeout in ADaMS, in addition to a row added to the Dispatch History, a message is sent in ADaMS with the timeout details. This is unaffected and the messages will continue to be sent with the relevant information. Should a timeout occur, participants may find the relevant timeout details in the Message History (once acknowledged).
