Stakeholder session

Session purpose

The AESO is performing a reaffirmation study to provide an updated congestion forecast, which will confirm if the first stage of construction for the Central East Transfer-out (CETO) Transmission Development should be triggered. The key assumptions to be used for the reaffirmation study will be presented.

In scope

• During the session, the AESO will respond to questions and take stakeholder feedback on the key assumptions to be used in the study into consideration. The final assumptions for the study will be posted on or about March 1, 2022.

Out of scope

• Discussion on need, alternative, or other topics in the CETO Needs Identification Document Application previously approved by the Alberta Utilities Commission, are out of scope.
