807L Capacity Increase (1381)
On September 30, 2016, the AESO filed its Needs Identification Document (NID) for the 807L capacity increase transmission reinforcement with the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC). On January 23, 2017, the AUC approved the AESO’s NID.

AltaLink Management Ltd (AltaLink) is the transmission facilities owner (TFO) in the area. While the AESO is responsible for identifying that transmission system development is needed, AltaLink is responsible for detailed siting and routing, constructing, operating and maintaining the associated transmission facilities.
