    EPCOR Distribution & Transmission Inc. (EPCOR) has applied to the AESO for transmission system access to reliably serve the growing demand for electricity in the Edmonton area.

    EPCOR Distribution & Transmission Inc. (EPCOR) has applied to the AESO for transmission system access to reliably serve the growing demand for electricity in the Edmonton area. EPCOR’s request can be met by the following solution:

    • Modify the existing Castle Downs substation, including adding fourteen 15 kilovolt (kV) feeder breakers.
    • Add or modify associated equipment as required for the above transmission developments.
