New Security Certificate for Automated Dispatch and Messaging System (ADaMS)
The current security certificate used to access the ADaMS will expire on Sept. 30, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. In order to maintain secure access to ADaMS, a new security certificate will be required.
The new ADaMS certificate was emailed to the primary corporate contact listed in our Energy Trading System (ETS) for those pool participants who receive dispatches/directives from the Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO) system controllers. If you are the primary corporate contact and have not received a copy of the new ADaMS certificate, please email info@aeso.ca. Please be sure to check your junk/spam folders prior to contacting us.
The new ADaMS security certificate will be valid for 2 years, expiring on Oct. 19, 2026.
It is the corporate contact’s responsibility to ensure the new security certificate is installed on all systems within their organization that require access to the ADaMS by Sept. 30, 2024.
Corporate Contacts as listed in ETS may be viewed by accessing the Pool Participant List on the AESO website.
Note, the new ADaMS certificate will only be disseminated by the AESO to previously approved corporate contacts.
Attempts to access the ADaMS using the old security certificates after Sept. 30, 2024, 10 a.m. will result in an error message indicating that the site does not exist.
If you are a pool participant that does not receive dispatches/directives from our System Controllers there is no action required.
