Alberta Reliability Standards Program Work Plan Information Sessions
Purpose
The purpose of these sessions is to periodically review the Alberta Reliability Standards (ARS) program work plan, timelines and answer stakeholder questions.
Alberta Reliability Standards are the requirements followed by the AESO and Alberta market participants to provide for the reliable operation of the Alberta interconnected electric system.

The AESO held a virtual information session on the August 2021 Alberta Reliability Standards (ARS) program work plan on Aug. 10, 2021 from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
Purpose of the session
The purpose of this session was to review the August ARS program work plan, timelines, and development plans for CIP-012-1 "Communications between Control Centers" and answer stakeholder questions.
Please note the development plan for CIP-013-1 "Supply Chain Risk Management" was not discussed at this session.
