New Asset Empress (EPS1) Notice

Please note that the effective date of Asset EPS1 has been postponed to September 15, 2022. The previous notification listed an effective date of Sept. 6, 2022.

Pembina Empress NGL Partnership is connecting a 46 MW self-supply generator effective Sept. 15, 2022. For information purposes, this new capacity will be reflected on the Current Supply & Demand page effective Sept. 15, 2022.

Please note that the date listed on this notice is the date a new asset will be added to the market. However, many generation units may initially undergo commissioning and testing activities, or incorporation in phases as applicable, and there may be a period of time before the new generation will output its full MW capability on to the grid.
