    Scotford 409S Substation Upgrade (2513)

    Shell Canada Limited (Shell) has applied to the AESO for transmission system access to improve the reliability of electricity service to the Shell industrial facility in the Fort Saskatchewan area. Shell’s request can be met by the following solution:

    • Upgrade the existing Scotford 409S substation, including adding one 138/25 kV transformer and four 138 kV circuit breakers.
    • Add or modify associated equipment as required for the above transmission developments.
