Stakeholder session

Purpose

We will share additional details on the activities, requirements, supports, and schedule for Market Participant readiness, as the AESO and market participants prepare for the REM, including:

• Certification and readiness reporting
• REM ISO rules and ISO manuals
• IT systems
• Learning

There will be updates on progress in each area and opportunities to ask questions throughout. We will also outline the upcoming engagement opportunities. Market participants should leave with better clarity on the schedule, requirements for certification and awareness of learning support available so that market participants can prepare and conduct their own readiness activities.

This session is intended for those responsible for leading and coordinating their organization’s REM implementation readiness across operations, technology/systems compliance and change management. Ideal participants will include the project manager and/or technical lead overseeing implementation planning activities.
