853L Transmission Line Capacity Increase (7081)
Recent studies have shown the existing transmission system in the Brooks area needs to be enhanced to continue to reliably connect new generation in the area. The AESO is proposing to increase the capacity of the existing 138 kilovolt (kV) transmission line 853L segment between the West Brooks 28S substation and the 853AL tap point, approximately 17 km west.
