Piikani Wind Project Connection (2806)
Piikani Resource Development Ltd. (PRDL) has applied to the AESO for transmission system access to connect its proposed Piikani Wind Project (Facility) in the Fort MacLeod area. PRDL’s request can be met by the following solution:
- Add one 138 kilovolt (kV) transmission line to connect the Facility to the existing Windy Flats 138S substation using a radial configuration.
- Modify Windy Flats 138S substation, including adding two 138 kV circuit breakers.
- Add or modify associated equipment as required for the above transmission developments.
