    Rate Export Opportunity Merchant Service (XOM)

    Rate XOM applies to market participants who export electric energy from the transmission system utilizing a merchant intertie. A merchant intertie is an intertie for which the cost of planning, designing, constructing, operating and interconnecting is paid by the person who proposed the intertie and other persons that directly benefit from the intertie.
