Stakeholder session

Purpose

In the Restructured Energy Market (REM) Final Design, the AESO highlighted that market power mitigation for energy storage and hydro resources would be based on opportunity cost. We are hosting this session to gather input from stakeholders on options for establishing an opportunity cost methodology for these resources, to be included in a subsequent information document. We will present the options being considered and seek input from participants.
