    2025 Transmission Capability Map Published

    The AESO has published a 2025 update to the Transmission Capability Map and associated documents.

    This interactive map helps market participants optimize siting decisions by showing where new generation can connect to the grid. The 2025 map has a new layout and improved line and substation GIS data. It also features additional tools, including a new “Find Nearby Facilities” tool which displays all facilities and their capabilities within a specific radius of a potential project location.
